You must be 48 inches or taller for the waterslides. There is no height requirement for the lily pad crossing, but you must be able to swim to the side if you fall off.

Size: Rehm Pool is 50 meters long by 60 feet wide. Ridgeland Pool is 50 meters long by 60 feet wide and offers one 25 yard lap lane during all public and passholder swim times. Depth: Rehm Pool has a zero-edge entry and goes to 5 feet deep. Ridgeland Pool ranges from 3 feet, 6 inches to 12 feet, 6 inches, including a diving well. Both pools have a baby pool that is shallower than 2 feet deep.

Day passes for the pool may either be purchased at the Guest Services desk at Ridgeland or Rehm Pool. We accept cash, card, and Apple Pay.

Yes, pool noodles and toys may be brought to passholder only swims. We ask that you do not bring oversized rafts such as boats or anything larger than a 3 foot diameter as it creates a blind spot for the guards.

Yes, anyone 16 and up can attend lap swim. Anyone 15 or under need permission from the Park District of Oak Park.

All users MUST be strong swimmers to use the diving board. The diving well at Ridgeland is 12’ deep.

• Improper use of the diving board may expose the user to physical harm.
• Participants assume full responsibility for any injury which might occur.
• Cartwheels and handstands are prohibited on the board.
• Running is prohibited on the diving board.
• Users may only take one bounce before entering the water.
• Patrons must dive or jump straight from the edge of the board, inverted and backward dives are prohibited.
• Only one person on the board at a time.
• Be sure diving area is clear, and previous user has made it to the ladder before entering the water.
• Pay attention to additional instructions by the lifeguard.

Yes, there is a 25 yard lap swim at Ridgeland Pool during passholder and public swim. During adult swim, there is a 50 meter lane put into the pool and the 25 yard is taken out.

The nanny will need to either have a pool pass or pay the daily fee.

Yes, passholders can bring guests during the passholder only swim at a reduced daily admission rate of $13.

No motorized toys at any time. Inflatable toys, masks and fins are ONLY allowed during Passholder Swim. U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices (PFDs) are allowed. Water wings and other non-Coast Guard approved PFDs are prohibited. Children wearing PFDs must remain within arm’s length of their guardian.

During passholder only swim, balls, toys, and floatation devices no larger than 3ft in diameter are allowed. During public swim they are not. Safety break is called for the last 10 minutes of every hour during public swim time and not during passholder swim.

The pool is heated by the environment as well as a boiler. Staff strives to keep to water at 78o, as the optimal temperature for both lap swimmers and recreational swimmers. The temperature of the water varies based on the environmental conditions.

Once the posted pool capacity is reached, staff will allow one person to enter for every one person that leaves in order to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our guests. Both Rehm and Ridgeland Pools have a counting system to keep track of attendance. Rehm’s system counts both at the front entrance and the exit by the diving well to ensure proper count.

All attractions are open during all open swim times. These attractions are not open during lap swims or swim lessons. Please note: The activity pool at Rehm is under construction. Please keep an eye on the Park District website, social media, and enewsletters for announcements regarding the grand reopening. The wading pool at Rehm is open 1:00-6:00P. Attractions may close due to low attendance, poor weather, or low staffing levels.

Non potty-trained and recently potty-trained children are allowed to swim, but must have all of the following:

• Rubber pants
• Swim diapers
• A lined bathing suit

Lockers are available. We have locks available for purchase, but recommend that you bring your own due to the limited quantity available.

The pools will close for cold weather, thunder, lightning, severe weather, or the imminent threat of severe weather. If thunder is heard or lightening is spotted, the pools must close for at least a half hour. Pools will remain closed until 30 minutes have passed without thunder being heard or lightening being spotted. If the air temperature is below 68o the pools may close. This depends on other factors including time of day, current pool attendance, perceived temperature, and amount of sunlight. In any of these situations refunds are not given for weather regardless of the amount of time in the facility before closing. The Park District of Oak Park pools are always supervised by lifeguards during scheduled hours. All lifeguards are licensed through the International Lifeguard Training Program by Jeff Ellis and Associates. For more information on lifeguard certifications please click here.

Anyone who enters the facility is required to pay the entry fee. The pool offers a variety of non-aquatic amenities such as areas for sun tanning and grass areas. Even those not swimming must pay the admission.

The Illinois Department of Public Health requires anyone in the water to have a lined bathing suit on at all times. Leotards, board shorts, athletic shorts, or underwear are not considered bathing suits.

Coolers are limited in size to 11x9x8 inches (lunchbox size) and may be subject to search. Patrons with oversized coolers will be asked to leave them in their vehicles. Alcohol is not permitted and there is no smoking on Park District of Oak Park property.

Food and drink are allowed on raised decks and grass areas only. Glass containers are strictly prohibited. Alcohol is not permitted and there is no smoking on Park District of Oak Park property.

There is not a concession stand at either pool, however there are snack and drink machines. On select weekends local restaurants are invited out to the pools to provide food and snacks.

If you have the Amilia app downloaded you can take a picture of the access cards and send them to the relative/caretakers phone. They would then be able to pull up the access cards.

Ages 1 and up are required to have paid admission. Children under the age of 1 must register for a pool pass to enter Passholder Only Swim, but on checkout this pass will be FREE for them.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, 16 years of age or older, who remains inside the facility at all times. Oak Park Police will be contacted immediately regarding unattended children. Parents and Guardians 16 years of age and older may only enter the facility with up to four children under the age of 12. Non-swimmers and swimmers wearing lifejackets must have an adult, 16 years of age or older, within arm’s reach of them at all times. Patrons responsible for children under the age of 12 must be able to see their children at all times.

No problem, for pass holders, we can print your access card at RCRC if you upload a photo to your registration account member profile within your “My Account”.

To expedite entry to the pool, we will have a quick entry line for pass holders who have their member access cards during busy periods. You can get your mobile registration account access cards through the Amilia App available in your app store via your smart phone. You can also use your pool card pass. If you do not have your own access barcode handy, no problem, we can look you up if you are able to provide a valid photo ID to check you in but might take a bit longer and you will need to enter through a separate line. Non-pass holders are also required to show an Amilia account before they pay at the entry gate.

A daily admission to Ridgeland Common or Rehm Pool is $15. Lap Swim is $8. Pool passes can be purchased for $82 for Oak Park residents and $164 for non-residents.  Register prior to May 1 to get an early bird discount! Our all-access pool pass allows pass holders to attend any open swim (lap swim, pass holder swim, or public swim) with the purchase of one pass.

If you are not a pool passholder, you will need to check the schedule for public swim times. Then you will need to create an Amilia account and upload your picture. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian create the account then be added to their account.
